The power of community regeneration is set to be celebrated at the upcoming SURF Awards. The event is taking place in Glasgow’s VOCO Grand Central Hotel on Thursday, December 5^th. The ceremony will showcase examples of community regeneration projects across the country.

In October 2024, LHC Procurement Group successfully achieved full verification status under the Constructing Excellence’s ‘Gold Standard Verification Scheme’. They join an exclusive pool of UK framework providers who have achieved this new and highly desirable accreditation, which only a select few framework providers have managed to obtain.

As Procurex Scotland 2024 draws to a close for another year, it's time to review how it went. Like most years, the event took place at the SEC in Glasgow and was hosted by BiP Solutions.

After a full week of raising awareness about the various types of poverty, the Poverty Alliance encourages us to reflect. To reflect on how serious the poverty crisis in Scotland is, what you can do to help others and what options are out there to help yourself. Right now there are over 1.1 million people currently living in poverty, that’s 21% of our population, 1 in 5 people.

In September 2024, the Scottish Government opened a consultation inviting views on its proposals to introduce a building safety levy for new residential developments.
