We don’t believe in charging membership fees, which is why it’s completely free to become a SPA associate partner. Our costs are covered by a ‘levy’ applied to the value of procurement contracts.
There are two levels of partnership available to all public sector organisations – associate partner and SPA committee partner. Our SPA committee partners are appointed periodically on a rotational basis.
Becoming an associate partner is simple to do and provides multiple benefits for organisations:

As a not-for-profit organisation, any surplus generated over the financial year is re-distributed into SPA’s Community Benefit Fund. SPA's committee partners are eligible to apply for a portion of the fund each year to use for projects for their local community.
Over the past financial year, SPA’s associate partner registered over £199 million worth of projects through our procurement frameworks. Read more about SPA and their associate partner’s milestones in SPA’s Annual Review.
