6 Deer Park Avenue, Livingston EH54 8AF

retrofit-decarbonisation-public-sector-procurement-framework-launch

Join us as we explore solutions for upgrading the heat efficiency of existing buildings.

Experts will share insights across a host of topics including processes, systems, implementation, learnings, and feasibility with a look at policy and the latest developments.

Exclusively for public sector organisations, this event will give attendees valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding about organisations that have successfully delivered large scale retrofit and decarbonisation projects as well as hear about their personal experiences and key learnings.

Additionally, there will be discussions about funding projects at scale with insights from a government-owned funding agency to provide a view on both private and public borrowing perspectives detailing options available, market trends and insights into funded projects and the process of awarding funds.

As part of this event we will introduce our recently launched Retrofit and Decarbonisation (N9) framework developed to build on Scotland’s progress in reducing emissions for existing homes and buildings.

N9 provides a practical end-to-end solution for the public sector from feasibility and grant funding to building fabric, electrical and clean heating. It also features built-in flexibility to accommodate single or multiple measures. As well as signposting to specific grant funding options and commitment to addressing the green skills gap by allocating a percentage of income from N9 to fund Scottish academies re-skilling and training the next generation of the clean energy workforce.
